Supervision

I believe that supervision is finding the right level of support and challenge for the individual and that this is something that changes through time. Helping supervisees find their own talents as well as occasionally giving advice when appropriate is a creative tension which I welcome. I have been a supervisor for many years. I am careful to stay fresh in my approach by continuing to update my skills.

I have also taught theory and practice across a wide area of theoretical orientations and keep abreast of developments in the field of psychotherapy.I enjoy working with supervisees at all stages in their profession and believe that as a supervisor I must be flexible to the needs of the individual.

I use a variety of supervision models for my own practice.
